Historical renovation:
Re design for a Grade 2 listed Manor house gardens in Oxfordshire. Key to this design was to draw the eye from the lower terraces near the house out to the surrounding parkland. This was achieved by replacing two narrow steps on the lawn terrace with a centralised tiered design and an informal avenue of Populus alba leading the eye to a dome of Beech with a circular tree seat. The vista is softened by Yew boulders and meadow planting.
The new pool house beds were planted with Salix exigua, soft herbaceous planting and dwarf pines.
